Lisa

Hi I’m Lisa and I’m the owner/president of Logan Design. Prior to purchasing Logan in 1998, I worked in the local screen printing industry. I began my graphics career back in 1989 at the Daily Courier.

My best friend started Logan Design and when she was ready to retire I purchased it, looking for a way to be self employed doing something creative that I loved and that would allow me to give back to our community.

While I am a transplant of California, I have been a resident of Grants Pass since 1974. I graduated from Grants Pass High School then went on to get my degree at Linfield College. I came back to Grants Pass in 1988 and have never thought of living anywhere else. I feel very fortunate that I get to make a living, support our community and provide fun and creative jobs for my team.

One of my strongest skills is that I am a people person. I love to meet clients, learn about the goals for their business and help them make it happen. While Ashley and Callie do most of the design work these days, I still love getting my hands on projects and designing/producing graphics.

When I first bought Logan, I enrolled in Rogue Community College’s Small Business Education program. I found this to be an invaluable way to learn the business skills I didn’t learn as a creative writing major in college. I work at staying current with software and printers that we use here at Logan. Although I don’t get the opportunity to wrap vehicles myself, I have been through the certification process, which I find invaluable in understanding the process.

Outside of Logan Design I have lots of hobbies and interests including travel, cooking, gardening and pickleball. All of which I enjoy with my husband of 30+ years, Dale. I recently got my first batch of chickens and am loving being a Chick Mama.

Manager and Graphic Designer

Ashley

Hi my name is Ashley and I am the manager and a graphic designer at Logan Design. I’ve been passionate about art since a very young age. My love for commercial art really blossomed in high school and was the driving force that helped motivate me to pursue a career in graphic design.

After earning my bachelor’s degree in graphic design, I was fortunate enough to get a position as a graphic designer at Logan Design in 2012. Since then I have had the opportunity to learn many facets of the design world. From print advertising to vehicle graphics, I’ve gained an encyclopedia of design knowledge I welcomely share with our customers to help bring their vision to life.

As a graphic designer, I specialize in detailed design projects. I bring a critical eye and hardworking attitude to every job I take on to make sure each client’s needs are met. I also have a vast knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Corel Draw design software which allows me to easily adapt my art style and skills to take on new exciting projects everyday for our customers. While working at Logan I also became Orafol wrap certified and in taking the course I was able to learn the ins and outs of how vinyl is made, how to properly install it, and design layouts that work well with all vehicle types.

As manager of Logan Design, I work closely with our team to ensure we all stay on schedule to continuously deliver top quality graphics and advertising to all our clients. Another important part of my role as manager is ordering and maintaining inventory which has expanded my knowledge of all the options and possibilities we can bring to each project. I’ve also formed a close relationship with many of our suppliers to help make sure we bring in the latest and greatest materials to provide top quality signage and advertising products to our customers.

My favorite part about working at Logan Design is not only working in my hometown of Grants Pass, but also forming close relationships with the local community. Nothing is more heartwarming than seeing a local business flourish after we aid in their advertising to help bring them that top quality brand status that really makes them stand out as professionals. I’ve been fortunate enough to take on large scale design projects for local companies like Project Youth Plus, who personally helped me plan my way through college and have played a major role in helping our local youth.

Outside of Logan Design I am very passionate about my family and I enjoy spending time outdoors with them every chance I get. My favorite hobbies are outdoor photography and going on hikes and quad rides to explore all the beauty nature has to offer. I’m an Oregonian, born and raised, and I’m proud to pursue a career I’m passionate about, in a place I love to call my home.

Shop Foreman and Installation Technician

Jack

Hi my name is Jack and I am the shop foreman and an installation technician (fancy term for production/installer) at Logan Design. My job involves maintaining our production shop, managing all installation jobs, cutting material to shape, laying vinyl, finishing/detailing to wraps, signs, building sign frames, and banners.

I’ve been working at Logan Design since 2019, serving the community handcrafted signs and advertising of all kinds. In my time here I’ve watched businesses thrive with the logos and advertising we make for them. I love to see the custom projects we do in the community, everywhere from car stripes to bumper stickers and yard signs.

The connection to the Grants Pass community and great work environment is what brought me to Logan Design. It is very rewarding to work in and help make a difference in the town I live in. Driving down 6th and 7th street I can point out all the signs and windows I’ve made on the way through our town.

I’m most known for being very detail oriented – I am your guy when it comes to more delicate/intricate signage and graphics projects. With my Orafol Wrap Certification, I can also work vinyl in many ways most people can’t – wrapping cards, guitar, mailboxes, etc. I am also hands on for most of the canvas framing wraps we take on for customers.

I enjoy working on vehicle wraps of all kinds. When a plain white work van comes in and leaves as a colorful intricate design, it is such an eye opener. I’ve witnessed what can be complete transformations on some vehicles and the extra customers it brings them.

Not too long ago there was a full utility truck that was in need of a full wrap to represent the owner’s businesses. We were under tight time constraints to get it done, but we completed the wrap in time and it turned out great. The business owner left very happy and so were we with the wrap we provided.

Besides work, I do a fair amount of reading, studying various subjects, and helping my folks at home. More recently I’ve taken up bike trail riding, I highly recommend it!

Installation Technician

Brittney

Hi, my name is Brittney, and I am an installation technician at Logan Design. My job involves making signs, preparing cut vinyl, laminating printed decals, installing vehicle graphics, and doing on site installs for a variety of signage.

I’m the newest edition at Logan Design, I started working here beginning of March 2022. I was a FedEx driver previously and would deliver packages daily to Logan Design. I was always intrigued at all the fun and exciting projects they create. Soon as I saw they were hiring for an installer, I jumped on the band wagon! My coworkers are great, and the work environment is a 10/10.

I’m still in training, but I’ve enjoyed learning from the graphic and sign projects I’ve completed so far. I’ve already become skilled at laying vinyl. I’m learning the importance of squeegee techniques for laying vinyl on different substrates and curvatures of vehicles.  

I enjoy working on anything that takes me outside of the office and into the community. My favorite project so far was installing over a 12-foot-wide picture decal of a local gentlemen that passed away. His wife hired us to put a large picture of him on the garage door of their shop as a memorial that could be seen from the freeway. It was quite the project to take on, but I really enjoyed what I learned from the experience and the impact it made for our local community.

Outside of work I enjoy going to local breweries with friends, playing with my two German shepherds, and spending time with my family. I recently got back into softball, and I have a serious passion for watching true crime. I am also a veteran and spent 7 years in the Army National Guard. During my active duty I spent 10 months in Djabouti, Africa (enduring Freedom), I came home August of 2020.
